The home of waterproofing.

Neuchâtel took its name from the small Swiss town where naturally occurring deposits of rock aggregate, which was used in the production of mastic asphalt, were found. Asphalt proved to have exceptional waterproofing properties, and was extracted and used as a moisture barrier in buildings all over the world for nearly two centuries from the late 1800s. In 1905 Neuchâtel began manufacturing and installing mastic asphalt in New Zealand. Over the last century waterproofing materials technology has advanced considerably, but the fundamentals haven’t really changed. The Neuchâtel name has become synonymous with best-in-class, enduring waterproofing systems.
