The Chambers building was designed by architects Wade & Wade in 1912, with A. Sinclair O’Connor designing the Fire Station in 1925. Both buildings hold a special place in the history of Mt Eden Village so it was imperative that the project not only achieved the highest standard of luxury and quality but also preserved the authenticity of each building.
Chambers & Station now consist of two stunning penthouse apartments and four generous garden apartments. Each has been sensitively restored to echo the former glory of these Category B heritage buildings. The major additions to Chambers & Station include a full seismic upgrade, gorgeous shared rooftop garden, basement carpark and glazed central atrium linking the two buildings.
